I have installed sims2 in my computer but once i try to run the game, this message pop up: (Failed to find any DirectX 9.0c compatible graphics adapters in this system! Please make sure you have a DirectX 9.0c compatible graphics adapter & have installed the latest drivers provided by the manufacturer.)
I have already downloaded DirectX_9_0c_Jun10, directx_9c)Apr05 sdk_redist and dxwebsetup .
According to SPECCY, these are my PC specs: OS : MS WXP 32 bit SP3 Motherboard: Micro-Star Intl. Co., Ltd MS 7222 (Socket 775) ver.2.00 CPU: Intel P4 630 Prescott 90nm Technology RAM: 512MB Single - channel DDR@ @ 200MHz (4-5-5-13) Graphics: 1280x768 @ 1Hz 32 bit/ pixel Hard drive: 78GB Samsung SPO822N (PATA) 48 bit LBA 78GB
Solution:
Goto > Control panel > device management press the [+] behind VGA adapter.
If it says no driver or the wizard can not find the necessary software. This happens because your VGA card does not have a driver, without a driver cannot support Direct-X, find out if your VGA card is Built in or External. If your VGA is built in go here > http://www.bioticaindia.com/msi-ms-7222.html and download all of *********** board drivers including the VGA ones. Install them all following instructions. IF your VGA Still doesnt have a driver then you have to find what kind of VGA you got and look fro the appropriate driver using a internet search engine like Google, Bing, etc.. Write back to tell me what happens.
